Voice Medicine: Connection and Activation with Shevani (Foundations)

In this workshop we first learn to use our voices intuitively.

When we sing, we are not just receiving sound, we are making the

sound, the vibrations created are felt viscerally through the entire body at a cellular level.

In the second part of the workshop, we bring on more good vibrations using the Circle singing technique developed by

Bobby Mcferrin, an American musician noted for his tremendous

vocal control improvisational ability. The music is entirely improvised melodies, rhythmics and textures travel from

singer to singer, perpetually morphing. We may start with a hum, some percussive body slapping, any little

sound-ed movement that arises within us.  And we use four different parts to coordinate us into one Voicestra!
