PIANO LESSONS
We offer fun and exciting piano lessons for all ages and skill levels.  Whether you are a beginner or intermediate player, new or returning student, our custom tailored private lessons will get you started and keep you going for many years of enjoyment. For those who are looking for more of a disciplinary and structured approach, we also offer the RCM syllabus.
GUITAR LESSONS
We are proud to offer lessons for Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar and Ukelele. Learn how to read chords, lead and strumming patterns to your favourite songs, or go old school and delve into the realm of classical guitar. Wherever your stringed instrument takes you, let our guitar teacher rock your world!
SONGWRITING & MUSIC PRODUCTION
You are a musician with ideas that you need to get out, and you are quite confident in your ability to sing and/or play an instrument. Look no further than our incredibly in-depth Songwriting and Music Production program. Learn from our award winning film & television composer, and professional songwriter/recording artist, to guide you through the next phase of your musical career.
DRUMS
Grab those sticks, sit behind the drum kit, and get ready to dive into the fantastic world of percussion. Students will learn introductory rudiments to drum fills and solos, while exploring many styles and genres of music. Your instructor will have you playing drums to your favorite songs in no time.
FILM SCORING
Lights! Camera! Action!

Learn the art of creating music for film and TV, with our exclusive film scoring program. Our studio is equipped with everything you need to write soundtracks for moving pictures. Create music cues, learn time code, and build epic orchestral compositions, as you navigate professional music production software used by Hollywood studios. Students will also have the ability to mix their compositions in surround sound using Dolby Atmos via Logic Pro DAW.
ROCK BAND

Our weekly after school rock band program is the perfect place for your kids to learn how to jam, play and perform with others! Students will have the opportunity to learn cover songs with their band mates, with the goal of performing at our upcoming concerts and recitals.

This program is open to ALL music students, whether you are a Blackbird Music student, or if you are enrolled in another music school.
Rock band is available to the following age groups:

Junior Band
Minimum 1- 2 years of musical experience is required.
​
Senior Band
+2 years of musical experience is required.
